Johnson solicits materials for Alaska- Pacific- Yukon 1909 Exposition to be held in Seattle. Material requested to be indicative of " the old way and the new... what is being accomplished in government schools." Johnson is to direct the exhibits. Dec. 17, 1908 Johnson, H. H., Supt., Puxallup Cons. Agency, Tacoma, Wa. Letter to Chas. F. Werner, So. Ute Agency Johnson writes Werner re: photographs for Seattle exposition. Johnson promises to inform Werner about his own Trade School work, and encloses several friendly personal comments. Jan. 15, 1909 Leupp, F. E., Commissioner of Indian Affairs Letter to (?), Forest Service Leupp acknowledges receipt of letter re: Indian trouble in the LaSalle National Forest. No report has indicated to the commissioner what the Indians want or to what they will agree. Until this is determined no decision can be made for removal.
