We last year spon sored Miss Lois Blood, who became Governor of Girls' State. year In line with the recommenda tions from the National Federa tion and the policy of the organ ization, we endorsed and worked for the election of our President, Ora J. Lewis, as Mayor of Logan City. She won the Primary elec tion, but failed to win the general election by a small margin. How ever, we succeeded in placing the Logan Club in a high place in the community through this effort. We have representation on the Logan Co-ordinating Council, the Women's Legislative Council, and one of our members, Mrs. Gretta |
