Years of Brigham City Club 1941-43 President Romer sent this call: "Weare this war up to our ears and we shall have to work more. sacrifice more, give more. and most likely pray more than we have done before." All the Clubs and in dividual members responded well. The Fed eration invested $600 in Bonds. Clubs helped organize U.S.O. groups, they sewed, knitted, rolled bandages, eliminated dinner meetings. and' streamlined the State Convention into a one day's meeting. Anne's aim was growth. growth in num bers. but more important. growth in under standing. Two new Clubs were formed: Panguitch. 1940; Sugar House, 1941. The whole Federation grew in unity, friendliness, and goodwill. Miss Federation membership increased 521 to 780. Three Clubs were lost. to of holding Lillian W. East Carbon at Draqerton, and Ensign Club of Salt Lake City. making 24 Clubs in the Utah Federation with 1044 members. to Plans were laid for the "Rheumatic Fever". which State was Project. adopted at the Board Meeting in January and during the year. $1400.00 was raised by projects in the clubs to start the Project Fund.
