Show '2-3/ Executive Board Friday, June 18 Bluebird Cafe - Meeting 5:30 p.m. Logan, Utah -- (1) Meeting called to order by President Lillian W. Lunt and the follol'ling were present - Leah Merrill, Vera Tate, C. Claire Haines, and Jeannette Rosser. Jean Shonka, Eva Bentley, Irene Conniff, The minutes of the last Executive Board meeting were read and approved as read. President Lunt announced that since the April 12th issue of "Forward Together" membership had been increased to 984 members. the Utah Federation's Eva Bentley read her treasurer's renort and it was noted that the blance as of 18, 1948 was $454.12. Miss Bent.Leyrnade the motion that the r-epor-t as read' by her be approved ad presented to the Board of Directors for approval. Seconded by June Leah Merrill. Carried. Hiss Amy Kearsley, Convention Chairman, advised the Board that Miss Sally tler, National President and guest speaker at our Convention, would of necessity need to leave the convention Saturday night =nd that she would like to have the privilege of installing the newly elected officers Saturday night after the tanquet. This would mean that the voting would need to be done Saturday afternoon and that several of the convention p'l.ans so we'LL arranged for would have to be changed. Much discussion followed Hiss Kearsley's report. C. Jean Shonka motioned that the Board take no action of changing the plans but rather present it to the Board of Directors for its consideration. This motion seconded by Vera Tate. Carried. C. Jean Shonka made the motion to Carried. adjourn.
