A hipped roof bell tower stands at the west gable. The hall is built from stone quarried locally. The masons were -J.D. Carison, J.J..Sorenson, and John F. Bohlin, all Scandinavians. The carpenters were William Donnard and Marines Mortensen, Mortensen also served as painter. The building was also used as a school house until the big school was opened in January •1900.
