Show Record Maude Kendrick testified on cross examination a follows: 3348 My maiden name was Maude Wood. We went from the Wolverton ranch five or six miles down to Three Canyon and back up to the ranch in a row boat and next day used the other boat. I used to ride horseback quite a great deal and the occasion 3349 I mention is the only time I over forded the Green River, but I have seen other people go across. The water hit a bank square where I was standing and went up over it. I think that while I was at Bluff the rains usually came in July and August. It rained at other times, but those rains were more quiet. I have seen the San Juan River rise four or five feet in an hour, and there would then be riffles on the river. I lived at Bluff and Mexican Hat nineteen 3354 or twenty years. The San Juan carries more sand and sediment in the |
