Show The estimated value of energy and capacity supplied by the Colorado River Storage Project: Energy at an assumed rate of 3.00 mills per kw hr........................................................... $7,088,591.94 Capacity at an assumed rate of $2.00 per kw month...........................................____ 295,347.50 Total value to September 30, 1967........................ $7,383,939.44 In addition to these basic amounts totaling $14,826,614.66, the associated interest costs amount to approximately $20,429,550.31, assuming a final date of repayment of June 30, 1996 for the interest-bearing investment in the Colorado River Storage Project. The total loss to the Upper Colorado River Basin fund by September 30, 1967 has been estimated to be over $35 million. The calculation, distribution and nature of these effects upon the Upper Colorado River Basin Fund are illustrated in the following tables. Table IX (d) shows the expenditures of money from the Upper Colorado River Basin Fund. Table IX (e) illustrates the amounts of CRSP electric energy and generating capacity used to fill diminutions in energy and capacity at Hoover Dam powerplants attributed to the operation of Upper Basin reservoirs. Table IX (f) illustrates the overall computed effect on the Upper Colorado River Basin Fund. Table IX (g) consists of power generation and sales statistics showing the net generation* at Glen Canyon and Flaming Gorge powerplants and the disposition of the energy. * Total generation less station service. 88 |
