Show H. R. 3300 (Aspinall) S. 1004 (Hayden) (e) Provides for the use of imported water available to the Upper Basin. (f) Distribution of en route imported water according to Federal Reclamation Law. SEC. 306 - The main stream salvage unit shall include programs for water salvage along the main stream of Colorado River and for ground water recovery. Such programs shall be consistent with reasonable undisturbed habitat for fish and wildlife. SEC. 307 - The Secretary shall construct, operate, and maintain any additional works authorized by Congress as units of the project. SEC. 308 - Development of fish and wildlife resources and recreation enhancement shall be according to Federal Water Project Recreation Act. SEC. 309 - Dixie and Southern Nevada water supply projects should be integrated into the project. SEC. 310 - $1,167,000,000 to be appropriated to carry out purpose of Title III TITLE IV - Lower Colorado River Basin Development Fund. Allocation and Repayment of Costs: Contracts SEC. 401 - Provision for cost allocation upon the completion of each unit: (1) commercial power, (2) irrigation, (3) municipal and industrial water supply, (4) flood control, (5) navigation, (6) water quality control, (7) recreation, (8) fish and wildlife, (9) allocation of the cost of the Mexican Treaty, (10) allocation of the cost in excess of 2500 cfs Arizona canal to be recovered as provided in Sec. 304 (a), (11) any other purpose authorized by Federal Reclamation Law. Costs of preventing loss and damage to fish and wildlife are to be allocated according to Federal Water Project Recreation Act. Costs allocated to the Mexican Treaty, to the Indian Tribes recreation, are to be non-reimbursable. Provision is made for cost allocation of any additional capacity for the main Central Arizona Project canal. SEC. 402 - The Secretary shall determine the repayment ability of Indian lands. Construction costs allocated to irrigation of Indian lands shall be nonreimbursable. SEC. 403 (a) Creation of the Lower Colorado River Basin development fund. (b) Appropriations made for the purposes of carrying out provisions of Title III are advances to development fund. Omitted Omitted Sec. 6 substantially covers this material of Sec. 306, H. R. 3300. Omitted Sec. 3 is the same as Sec. 308 of H. R. 3300. Sec. 2 (j) integrates the Dixie Project only into the development fund. Omitted - See Sec. 16 below.
