(b) Provides for paved road to Hualapai Omitted unit; provides the tribe with 25,000 KW - tribe to resell only to users on reservation. (c) All minerals except sand and gravel, Omitted within area acquired by U. S., are reserved to the tribe. (d) Hualapai Tribe has exclusive right to Omitted develop recreation potential and control access to shoreline. The tribe is not to extract compensation or restrict access to paved road. (e) Provides for tribal use of the land area Omitted of the project. (f) When all lands are no longer necessary Omitted for the project all rights revert to tribe. (g) United States cannot use payments Omitted hereunder as offset against other tribal claims. Payment shall constitute full compensation for rights transferred. (h) Per capita distribution of funds paid Omitted to the Hualapai Tribe shall be exempt from State and Federal income tax. (i) No payment shall be made until the Omitted provisions in this Act have been accepted, by resolution, by the Hualapai Tribe. If such a resolution is not adopted in six months, litigation instituted regarding ac-qusition of tribal lands will not show payments in this Act as evidence of value. 46 |
