And they had a resident priest there for awhile, for a few years, you know ... RR: And this priest came here in 1939 visiting ... GC: This same priest here? And what's his name? RR: He baptized Vivian in 1930. BL: In 1940, yes, because I went back when she was a baby in 1939, and in '40 was it Father Freeguard that baptized see, he was our missionary priest that came through. So you can see, because I think it became that they couldn't support a priest down there and he left for. awhile and they ' d come, you know, from Salt Lake down. And there was Father Louelle and Father Free­guard, I remember, and Father Kelly that used to come down, remember, there was Father Kelly, and if Mother were alive she could probably tell you names of others. But those three I remember. Do you remember any others? And Father Sanders, of course, because Father Sanders was stationed in Monticello, too, in 1938 he was in Monticello. I don't know how long he was there. This Prudencio Gonzalez from Monticello would be able to tell you more about that or even Bill Mazaneras who is Arthur's father could tell you. Because see, they used to be Catholic, and they're LDS now.
