Show I TERVIEW: Sanch z Page 10 PS: years, they couldn't get on and then we finally got a little bit of courage and we put a petition and said we think it's only fair that we should have a seat. Well, we finally did get two seats on there, ~e got one from here and one from Price. And one of them was Sister Juliana and then, who sat on the board dawn there? Arthur Sinatas and we got him on the board, but he didn't take a really active interest because he was a drinker and so he didn't, well, sometimes he wouldn't shaw up for th~ meetings when it was really important for us, and so, and a lot of our help we got from Bob Nieves. He's the one that really helped us start Socio, you know, and through the Community Action Program, working together. GC: Now, was he working for the Community Action Program then or .•• ? PS: No, he wasn't, we got ••• he was the one that, him and Bill and I were the ones that kind of got Socio going around down here and then he was the one that really carried the ball. GC: Where did Bob Nieves live? Did he live here in Moab or .•. ? PS: Yeah, he lived here in Moab until he got the job that he's got n~. I guess he's with the university. GC: Yeah, the Socio office there. How about Bill? Was he living here or •.• ? PS: Yeah, he was living here. He was living here until his wife died, and as far as I know I thought he was still living here but I . guess not he's moved to Because she was really sick, |
