I TERVIEW: Ellis Page 42 VE: Yeah not very long ago. They've been Catholic for some­thing like sixty years, and they changed over, but now like Grandma says, she won't work for the church here. She does once in a while in Salt Lake, but she won't go here, because like she says they have authority in Salt Lake and over here the real truth comes out here, you know. BE: They're a bunch of hypocrites here, that's a fact. VE: Like for SOCIO. They went and donated twenty dollars worth of popcorn, you know, to the CAP. You know what the CAP is, Community Action Program. And they were supposed to, the Mormons were running the Buckaroos Rodeo out there on the 7th, 8th, and 9th of June and we asked the Mormon Bishop if we could sell the popcorn so we could give it for charity to these kids that were, like the Welfare Women, it was called, it was a youth organization to take the handicapped, and all these little kids that don't have fathers and mothers on camping trips and swimming and teaching them this and that, just to take all those little kids that don't have it, and learn how to swim, and camp, and do things like this. And they refused to give it to them. A popcorn stand was the only thing we wanted, the only thing we could make money off of, off of the Community Action Program.
