Show Military Relations - 509 reproduced verbatim, which states an uprising of Ute, Piute and Navajo Indians is expected in the Spring. Mormons are accused of supplying the Indians with arms, provisions and whiskey- Attached to the letter is General Willcox' response, dated Dec. 31, 1881, to the Headquarters of the Military Division of the Pacific. Also attached is response, dated Jan. 6, 1882, by Irving McDowell, Major General at the Military Headquarters, Presidio, California.
