Show D-10 (t) (Cont'd.): Location of water right dated October 23, 1690 and recorded October 24, 1890 in Book 1, page 62 of Preemptions, by E. M. Sanford, locator in accordance with laws of Congress, and has located and appropriated near the Town of Yuma, Arizona Territory, 1,000,000 miners inches (under 4 inch pressure) for agricultural and mining purposes from the Colorado River waters. Said waters to be taken from said river by canal at a point near Military Reservation and canal to be fifty feet wide from bank to bank. Notice dated November 8, 1890 and recorded November 13, 1890 in Book 1, page 62 of Pre-emptions by J, D. Cusenberry for canal to irrigate 15,000 acres more or less in Yuma Valley and carry 8,000 miners inches and located at a point on the east bank of Colorado River at Yuma County, Territory of Arizona, commencing at a point which lies north from the upper end of a slough known as Big Laguna, 5,625 feet and about north from the point of a mountain known as Laguna Mountain and ends at said upper end of Big Laguna and running thence down the valley of the Colorado River about ten miles. Notice dated December 18, 1890 and recorded December 18, 1890 in Book 1, page 63 Pre-emptions by C. B. Ford and E. W. Ford for 10,000 inches of water from Colorado River, located on east bank of river in Yuma Aounty for irrigation canal, commencing at this point which lies about 600 yards more or less northerly from |
