Show D-10 (b) (Cont'd.): Notice dated December 19, I898 and recorded December 19, 1898 in Book 3 of Miscellaneous Records, page 281 by Adam Ludy for 1,000,000 miners inches of flood waters from the Colorado River for the purpose of irrigation and other uses and to construct canals, dams and reservoirs for purposes herein stated. The area of the reservoirs will cover 18 sections and parts of sections in Yuma County, to-wit: Sections 22, 21, 14, 15, 16, 17, 11, 10, 9, 8, 2, 3, and 4 in Township 9 South, Range 24 West, and Sections 33, 34, 35, 26, and 27 in Township 8 South, Range 24 West, Q & SRM, Yuma County, Arizona Territory. Notice dated October 25, 1901, recorded October 25, 1901, in Book 3, page 609 of Miscellaneous Instruments, by Pierce Evans and Wash M. Gay for 100,000 cubic feet for unappropriated flood waters of the Colorado River, at a point on the south bank of Colorado River 300 feet west of center line of SP Railroad where road strikes bridge of railroad at crossing of river and for construction of canals to run southwesterly through the Colorado River Valley, to-wit, the southeast corner of Section 31, Township 10 South, Range 24 West, Yuma County, for irrigation purposes.
