Show 6 1 the date of the completion of the project, of all amounts 2 advanced to the fund under suhdivision (b) of section 2, 8 together with interest thereon, made reimbursable under this 4 Act. 5 // during the period of amortization the Secretary of 0 the Interior shall receive revenues in excess of the amount 7 necessary to meet the periodical payments to the United States 8 as provided in the contract, or contracts, executed under 9 this Act, then, immediately after the settlement of such 10 periodical payments, he shall pay to the State of Arizona 11 18\ per centum of such cxce*s revenues and to the State of 12 Nevada 18$ per centum of such excess revenues. 13 Sec. 5. That the Secretary of the Interior is hereby 14 authorized, under such general regulations as he may pro- 15 scribe, to contract for the storage of water in said reservoir 16 and for the delivery thereof at such points on the river and 17 on said canal as may be agreed upon, for irrigation and 18 domestic uses, and generation of electrical energy and 19 delivery at the switchboard to States, municipal oorpora- 20 tions, political subdivisions, and private corporations of 21 electrical energy generated at said dam, upon charges that 22 will provide revenue which, in addition to other revenue 23 accruing under the reclamation law and under this Act, will 24 in his judgment cover all expenses of operation and main- 25 tenance incurred by the United States on account of works |
