Notice dated May 25, 1&9&, and recorded May 25, I898, in Book 3 of Miscellaneous Instruments, page 241 by Mel Greenleaf, J. L. Powell, C. L. Brown, G. C. Sexsmith, T. S. Lewis and J. H. Maxey for 10,000 miners inches of water to be taken from Colorado River at a point located at Geura Pina Slough, situated about eleven miles southwest of Yuma, Yuma County, Arizona Territory and fifty feet of right of way for canal to be used for irrigation. Marable for 30,000 miners inches of water from the Colorado River for irrigation of lands located between Gila River and Yuma and a strip of land located about four miles below Castle Dome Landing.
