Show U TO NIA NNineteen TwelveThe Juniors Would SpeakFROM the time that we were insignificant little Freshmen, our class history has been a record of things attempted and things clone. Now at the close of our Junior year we look back at the past from a perspective view-point, and see our varied stunts stand out in bold relief. In the dim distance a successful flag-rush, and the work of numerous shining lights in athletics and dramatics give expression of our early promise. A little nearer painted numerals on concrete chimneys, and the parade of Lucy's bovine in costume, bear witness to our lively disposition, coming closer still, this year is dotted by innumerable Prom, parties, at which star-gazing was an important feature; the never-to-be-forgotten Prom, itself and various other performances of a less dignified nature. Speaking generally, however, our activities have been a little less barbaric than heretofore. Indeed some of them have been heart-rending-witness the Seniors' funeral.Only one short year is left us now and what it holds is beyond our ken. But be the future as it may, we will return in the fall with the scowl of battle upon our brows, to struggle with the elements. So beware!54 |
