Dak.; Grand Junction, Colo.; Chemama, Oregon; Albuquerque, N. Mex.; Ghi-locco, Pod. T.; aud Lawreoce, Eans. Additional schools had been authorized by lam at Pierre, Y. Dak ; Carson, Ner. ; and Sauta PB, N. Mex. - It was regardst1 as important thaf those alreatly establishetl should be completed and properly equipped. They were subjectcd to thorough inspection, andmuah thought and labor have been bestowed upon secur-ing for them as complete an organization as praoticable. Wheu the improvement8 now in progress are finished the schools will rank very high and will do most excellent work. It will be possible uext year to take good care of 1,000 utu(1euts at Uarlisle, oE 600 at Lawrence, aud of from 150 to 400 at each of the other schools named. . New schools.-During the present administration new traiuing schools have bkeu established at Fort Mojave and Phoenix, Aria., and are now in suooessful operation. Similar schools have been anthorized and will be established during the coming gear ill Mt. Pleasant, Mich., Tomah, Wis., Pipestone, Minu., Flandreau, S. Dak., and Perris, Cal.
