Show Local Health District Key Health Indicators Wasatch City/County Health Department Compiled by Erin Maughan and Sally Burns Counties: Wasatch Population Size: 12,215 Area: 1,191 square miles The Wasatch City/County Health Department (WCHD) is the twelfth largest (smallest) health department in Utah by population, and the tenth largest in terms of area covered. The health indicators listed for the year 2001 show that WCHD's averages are more favorable than the overall state averages for immunizations. The adult obesity and low birth weight indicators have been less favorable than state averages in the past year, while there is improvement in the proportion of the population with health insurance.
