Show Local Health District Key Health Indicators Tooele County Health Department Compiled by Erin Maughan and Sally Burns Counties: Tooele Population Size: 40,735 Area: 6,923 square miles The Tooele County Health Department (TCHD) is the ninth largest health district in population, and the fifth largest in area. The health indicators listed for the year 2001 show that TCHD's averages are more favorable than the overall state averages for immunizations, low birth weight infants, and individuals having no insurance coverage.
