Show Local Health District Key Health Indicators Southeastern Utah Health Department Compiled by Erin Maughan and Sally Burns Counties: Carbon, Emery, Grand, San Juan Population Size: 54,180 Area: 17,329 square miles The Southeastern Healtli Department (SEHD) is the eiglith largest health district in population, and the second largest in area. The health indicators listed for the year 2001 show that SEHD's averages are more favorable than the overall state averages for immunizations. However, all other indicators are less favorable. SEHD had the highest percentage of its population with no insurance coverage for 2001 in the state, and tobacco use was the second highest in the state for 2001. r L No Health Insurance Figure 3.
