Show Local Health District Key Health Indicators Bear River Health Department Compiled by Erin Maughan and Sally Burns Counties: Box Elder, Cache, Rich Population Size: 142,097 Area: 7,819 square miles The Bear River Health Department (BRHD) covers the fifth largest health district by population, and the fourth largest area. The health indicators listed for the year 2001 show that BRHD's averages are more favorable than the overall state aver- "~"'™- m~~mmm~m' ages for tobacco use, low birth weight infants, immunization Rgure 3- Percentage of population having no health insur-rates, and, most recently, the percentage of the population that is uninsured.
