Utah June 14, 1937 MEMORANDUM FOR OPERATION:: The follow.ing is a report of my inspection of buildings on the Manti Forest made May 18. and 19. FERRON RANGER STATION ]. The kitchen ceiling nee~s a coat of plastic paint andshou1d be repainted to match existing work. a. The wall back of the chimney in the kitchen should have the fireproof covering of a~bestos, and should be painted with plastic paint. 3. The kitchen range smoke pipe should have an rosbestos sleeve co~ering. 4. The kitchen chimney needs a gaUvaniz.ed stack a.t the top to improve the draft. 5. The plastic paint on the wall over the kitchen door should be repaired to match existing work. 6. The pipes at the sink can be moved under the cabinet from the outside partition. This ,n11 insure against freezing in the winter. 7. The flour bin needs putty in the open joint and should be repaired to match existing work. 8. The back entry is not finished and painted to standard. There should be an additional coat of plastic p!iint on the ceiling. The ceiling a1 d wall $:Urfaces should then be painted with three coats of wall paint.jBefore this is dcme. the wall d8:lila1ge caused from seepage on the noirt;h wall of the entry should be repaired. 9. The tw.o metal valleys art the intersections of the roof surfaces on the rear roof should be caulked and repaired to prevent further leaks. It may be caulked with elastic plastic gum or any st~ldard tar or plastic cement caulking. 1~. The p1a.ster on the ceiling in the basement .room is to be rGpaired. 11. The lIWitch box and plate in the rear room of the basement is incomplete. JL |
