Show 5536 Kirkpatrick- C 3546 have evidence about the towns of Kanb and Caldville and Hardville; connects absolutely up with the testimony which has been previously offered. THE SPECIAL MASTER: My difficulty lies here, and I understand that Lieutenant Ives ever got up to the territory now in question, and therefore how is his testimony that he could only get to a certain point below the Utah line perti-nent on whether it is navigable above the Utah line? MR. BLACKMAR: Except it is one of the facts and circumstances that has to be considered in this case as to what was the head of navigation. THE SPECIAL MASTER: Do you consider it has come relevancy in that respect? MR. BLACKMAR: I do, your Honor. THE SPECIAL MASTER: I will admit it, because it is an official document of the government published by the House of Representative.
