Show CALIFORNIA DEFENDANTS Exhibit No. 515 Identification:.................... Admitted: .jfflfa.....,5..1957 Resolution No. 36576 Be It Resolved, by the Common Council of the City of San Diego, as follows: That the Mayor and City Attorney of The City of San Diego be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to take the necessary steps to properly advocate and maintain the claim and need of The City of San Diego for a proportionate share of the waters of the Colorado River, and to take all the steps which in their judgment may be necessary or convenient to present said claim before Congress, or the Committees of Congress, or association of states bordering the Colorado River, or association of cities in Southern California, or any other group or collection of states, individuals or authoritative committees or bodies who may be authorized to allocate and distribute the waters of said Colorado River, in order that The City of San Diego may receive its proportionate share of said waters. Passed and adopted by the said Common Council of the said City of San Diego, California, this 25th day of January, 1926, by the following vote, to-wit: Ayes-Councilmen Bruschi, Heilbron, Held and Stewart Noes-None Absent-Councilmen Maire John L. Bacon President of the Common Council of The City of San Diego, California. |
