Show the year by dashing off a 9.6 century to shatter a long standing state record and to tie the conference mark. Many fans expect to see Williams tie or break the world record before his college days are over. Aldo Nichols, the freshman 440 flash from Carbon, gave more than was expected of him. He threw cinders at Dudley of "Y" in three occasions. Ernest Barlow, although held up at the first of the season by a severe cold, made use of the warm weather before the state meet and resumed the form 3.hat enabled him to win the conference race in 1934.The freshman class furnished more of the man power than is generally the case. Barlow, Wiesley, Leupold, Williams, Nichols, Bennion, Lambourne, McKean, Wetzel, Coppin, Balkin and Wilde are some of the freshmen that are bettering Utah's chances. The Barlow brothers, Wiesley, Smith, and Gallagher are being watched for they carry Utah's hopes in the distances for next year.Coach Armstrong is fortunate in having all of the men on the squad back next year with the exception of Greenwell, Allen, and Franks. These men will be hard to replace, but Utah track will continue to improve.Track SquadThornley, E.
