Show MINOR SPORTSPratt, Howe, Rossiter Cannon, Owen, Thompson, Walker, Wilcken, JensenPolo TeamAlthough no conference polo contests were possible during the year, Polo Coach Cannon v/as successful in arranging an intra-class program which offered the mallet swingers plenty of competition. As a season's climax the Utah polo team tangled with Stanford University in California. The men who made the trip were Captain Arthur Pratt, Philip Cannon, Don Thompson, Elwood Walker, C. H. Wilcken, H. D. Jensen, and John W. Lowe. Unfortunately, they were unable to cope with the experienced team to the extent of a victory, but they displayed some fine class in riding and smashing.Pistol TeamThe University of Utah pistol team under the capable instruction of Captain M. L. Craig and Lee Rogers enjoyed a very successful season with an abundance of stiff competition. Out of twenty matches fired, the Redskin pistoleers captured a great majority, humbling decisively such foes as Fort Douglas, the Salt Lake City police, the Salt Lake County sheriffs, and Harvard University.
