Show covl. K^yfattettThe SecretaryDuring the year the Board of Regents appointed Leon D. Garrett as secretary of the University to succeed the late secretary, Thomas Hull. Mr. Garrett was also officially appointed bursar, purchasing agent, and secretary to the Board of Regents, positions held previously by Secretary Hull.Since 1929, Mr. Garrett has acted as assistant secretary. His experience in this capacity thoroughly qualified him to assume the diversified responsibilities of his new office and to execute them in an efficient manner.atianThe RecorderImportant for its function of general information bureau of the campus, the office of the Recorder is always ready to accommodate. It handles problems concerning admission and registration, checks records for eligibility and graduation, and issues class schedules and official reports of student scholarship.Though the responsibilities of this position Qre great, for twelve years, Mr. E. J. Norton has efficiently supervised its activities, establishing an office well able to serve both students and faculty. |
