Show |[| MINOR SPORTSPetersen, Pugsley, GublerHandballThe Kappa Sigma handball team consisting of Harry Pugsley, Charles Petersen, and Vivian Gubler defeated Norman Van Dam, Roland Wise, and Harold Wise, the Sigma Pi team, to annex the intramural championship for the second consecutive time. Gubler displayed some brilliant handball playing. The scores in the championship round were: Gubler I 1-5, I I-0; Pugsley 5-1 1, 11-9, I I-9; Petersen 11-5,Robbins, Summerhays, Collins, Temple, GreeneIntramural GolfCompetition was especially keen in the intramural golf tournament. Although the men featured in the picture were not all on the winning team, they may be considered as some of the strongest contestants in the flight. For the Sigma Pi fraternity, Van Dam, Temple, and Summerhays played beautiful ball; while for the unaffiliated, Walter Cosgriff and Jack Robbins displayed some unusually well played rounds.Two Hundred Ninety-one |
