Show t.eataet3OWLCL&The PresidentPresident George Thomas adheres steadfastly to the finest principles of collegiate administration and operates as a firm impetus in the furtherance of proper citizenship and education. May we forever appraise his counsel."With many, the idea prevails that the completion of a college course, with good scholarship attainment, affords an assurance of a worthy career in after life."To the aspiring youth of today, a college education is a necessity. It may, however, be well to remember that the possession of a technical knowledge of philosophy and science may not necessarily lead to a complete and satisfactory life. Among the qualities needed for a full and enjoyable life are the virtues of honesty, truthfulness, integrity, and clean living. Persons may possess a comprehensive view of all the fields of human knowledge, but if these viriues are lacking, one's life is likely to be a failure. These qualities ore the basic principles of a successful and happy life, and unless they are woven into the warp and woof of the cloth of life, the fabric is very apt to be shoddy."â€"DR.
