ReporterIn portraying the news and student thought of the campus, Editor Parry Sorenson and the Chronicle staff made a creditable showing. Each week they produced a four page paper that combined the news of the institution with entertaining features and cartoons. The editorial policy of the paper was vigorous and quite forceful. The high esteem in which the Redskin weekly was held by other college newspapers in the intermountain district was amply shown when Sorenson was elected president of the Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Press Association for the ensuing year at its annual convention. One issue of the Chronicle was turned over to the freshman class, and the greenlings wasted no time in exclaiming in print the virtues of the class of 1938 and the shortcomings of their arch-rivals, the sophomores. Nevertheless it was a notable issue and one that proved extremely popular to the campus.
