Show One copy of the articles of incorporation of the Palo Verde Land and Water Company, certified by the Secretary of State of the State of California. One copy of a resolution of the directors of the Palo Verde Land and Water Company, certified by the Secretary of said company. One copy of a release of a mortgage, certified by the Recorder of Riverside County, California. One copy of location notice of Thos. H. Blythe, certified by the Recorder of San Diego County, California. One copy of location notice of T. H. Blythe and O. P. Callaway, certified by the Recorder of San Diego County, California. One copy of location notice of Thomas H. Blythe, certified by the Recorder of San Diego County, California. One copy of a notice of water appropriation by the Palo Verde Mutual Water Company. One copy of a deed from certain parties to the Palo Verde Land and Water Company, certified by the Recorder of Riverside County, California. These papers satisfactorily show: (1) That on July 17, 1877, Thos. H. Blythe made a filing on 190,000 inches of the waters of the Colorado River,1 and on December 15, 1878, T. H. Blythe and O. P. Callaway made a filing on 95,000 inches of water from the same source2 and on February 20, 1883, Thomas H. Blythe made a further filing on 100,000 inches of water, also from the same source.3 This water was all to be used 1 Apparently Calif. Ex.
