Sept. 30, 1914. The Commissioner, General Land Office, Washington, D. C. Through Mr. G. W. Helm, Chief of Field Div., Los Angeles, Cal. Sir :- Stock in the Palo Verde Mutual Water Company having been offered in satisfaction of annual expenditures on the following desert land entries: Serials 010726, 012607, 011457, 013263, and 015516, in the Los Angeles Land District, the Register and Receiver, on May 10, 1914, called upon the Chief of the Los Angeles Field Division for a report on said company, in accordance with the requirements of Circular 216 of March 14, 1913, and paragraph 18 of the Desert Land Circular, approved September 30, 1910. Acting under instructions received from Mr. G. W. Helm, Chief of Field Division, I have to advise that from September 10 to September 21, 1914, I was engaged in an investigation of the Palo Verde Mutual Water Company; and, having secured informa- |
