You know x<? hen I started to work I used to drive horses in Blanding clear over to Flag Canyon and then cut off clear over to Greenwater. FO: Clear to Greenwater! That's a long ways. DL: That's quite a ways, but I was good enough to do it and I changed horses, you know. FO: Um hum. DL: I had my ox- ra horses. Sometimes I'd use my horse maybe half a day. But they had good horses. FO: They had good horses? DL: Um hum. All them horses in that outfit- they could do a lot of x\? ork. FO: Um hum. Did you live at Allen Canyon before World War II? DL: No. I come back after that. When World War II was done, I was working for the Navajo tribe. FO: When you moved over to Allen Canyon and got married, what was the name of the woman you married? DL: Margie Ketchum. AD: Margie.
