DL: I think so, but these, like these learning center and they play ball and all them kids and women, I think they got better time playing, learning how to play, you knox< r. That's one thinj this white man, what's his name, he's running the ? rink GT: Mr. Bradford? DL: Um hum. FO: You think things are improving then, here? DL: Yah, he's been improving quite a bit up at White Mesa. FO: Um hum. How long has he been here? DL: He's been here tx< ro years now. FO: And you think he's doing some good work, eh? DL: You bet. FO: That's good to hear. Are things now better for the folks at White mesa than ten years ago, or, is it better now than then? DL: Well, they try to make them live like white man. But the old timers, they try to forget about it but the way I feel about the oldtimers is the same thing. But you know, over here they got the white man running this outfit and most of these young girls they learn how to work. FO: You think that's good, eh? DL: Um hum. |
