Somehow, someone told me that they went like they call it buckskin or bearskin. They go to some camp, and go over there with that moaning and they done that to some Navajos. FO: Some Navajos did that to the Paiutes? DL: Um hum. FO: Now, did the Paiutes ever try witchcraft against the Navajos? DL: No, they never did. FO: Did they knoxtf how? DL: Some of them d i d. FO: But they never used it? DL: No. FO: Why not? DL: Well, I guess they were too superstitutious to do something against somebody. |
