BEACH,M.~ Thank you very much for your letter of September 3 and kind invitation to attend the Past Presidents meeting of ISIA. I am indeed sorry that I will be at another meeting in Los Angeles during this time. I wish to specifically express thanks for the Past Presidents acknowledging plaque I was given at the last meeting, and also a note of appreciation for being "invited in" for the meeting of the Past Presidents Council. I don't know that I can contribute anything, but I certainly wish I were available to attend. I would be very interested in hearing the proposals for re-structuring ISIA. INTERMOUNTAIN SKI INSTRUCTORS ASSOCIATION Mr. Bob Autry P.O. Box 308 Park City, Utah 84060 Dear Bob: September 21, 1971 Congratulations on being elected Chairman of the Ski School Directors Advisory Council. It is my personal op~n~on that the Ski School Directors hold the key to the future success of our organization. With their support, cooperation, and efforts, we can achieve almost anything. Without them, which has been the case as far as I can remember, we are extremely limited in what we can achieve. I would like to spend some time with you and visit on the various ideas expressed at the meeting this weekend. Before our Fall Clinic Meeting, I would like to ask you to prepare a list of all Ski Schools, the Ski School Directors, and the Directors' preferences for a Certification, Technical, and Newsletter representative. Attached is a list of the Ski School Directors and their phone numbers. This list is not complete, however. I think this would be the first step in getting organized on Svme of the items the Ski School Directors wish accomplished. I will look forward to working with you as Chairman of this Advisory Council this coming year. CTP: Id Attachment cc: E.O.D. Sincerely, Clark T. Parkinson President |
