Show Grace Oshita 2-28-85 s2:11 be done, which I really - I didn't know enough to do - to even understand I'm sure his set of books. So I really didn't help. I was of no help. L Causeyou jsut didn't know what to do at that point. GO YEah. L How was your grandmother taking this? GO Well, I think she was quite brave about it. Since my mother had to take care of the bsuiness end, L When your father was taken away. GO Yes. And shewas capable of doing it. Even inexperienced as she was, she had the natural business ability to make decisions. And I think things went very smoothly at the store. Because of her. And I give her a lot of credit for it. But, so she asked my grandmother to take care of the household things. That she could not be of any help to us. And so that's what my grandmother did. I don't think she ever went back to the store. I don't know when the last time it was what she went back. But. She took care of the things at home. And I remember once she was so discouraged that when my mother camehome, she just said, I just don't know what to do. aNd she cried and said, what am I going to do ~lith all these things. You know how am I going to take care of this bymyself. Andyou know, my mother said, Well, doyou know what kindof job !have to do you know at the store? What a big job has been left for me to do. So she said, let's just do it. I'll do my part if you'll do yours. And of course, the fellows from the store came to cratethings, the heavy things. We had relatives and friends |
