Selection of girls is then made on the basis of service to W.A.A. and the school, scholarship, leadership, and good sportsmanship. â- The girls receiving the award this year were: Emily Schoenhals, Sheilah Woodland, Marian Johnson, Edith Clayton, Jean Peters, Mae Richards, Mary Stevenson, and Lois Sorensen.MASS BALLâ- Aninnovation in the usual sports program of W.A.A. this year was the introduction of mass ball into regular tournament play. â- The sport was most enthusiastically received by the women students and there was a relatively large enrollment for the first year's appearance of an activity. â- After a quarter's play, with good stiff competition all the way through, the Delta Gamma mass ball team came out on top in the affiliated group and the team of Vikings was successful among the many unaffiliated competitors.<Jj*- â- C 5».♦•»*$IH 'â- ' iSchoenhals ReesWoodland Gilesmsfc-4*Newman SutherlandTwo Hundred Nineteen |
