MeetUtahâ€"ChampionAt DenverMay 20, 1933â- The 1933 track squad which won both dual and state meets climaxed a truly successful season by winning the conference championship â€" the third time in four years. â- Victory came as a result of a well balanced aggregation. Utah collected most of its 44 points from second and third positions, Davies being the only individual Ute to win a first place. Utah's only other first was won by the mile relay team composed of Jeppson, Adams, Terry, and Hartenstein. â- Johnson and Howard both won points throwing the hammer while Goldstein and Green-well ran second and third in the century and furlong. Jeppson finished with a strong second in the 440. *In the mile Captain Lusty and Barlow finished third and fourth.
