Show Utah U.A.C Friday . . . 55 37 Saturday . . 38 31 V, ADAL PETERSON, who was able to rise from a sick-bed for only a few hours a day, worked tirelessly to smooth his team's play for the approaching Utah Aggie series at Salt Lake. Richins, Kramer, Mecham, Erekson, Ed Colson, and others were drilled constantly against the regulars in an effort to whip some consistent fighting and ball handling into the players. With much speculation on the series' results, Utah tore into the Aggies. Eight goals by Kinner, four by Brooks, and five by Watts helped account for the 55-37 win in the Friday game. In the second game the Loganites presented a different aggregation and had it not been for three timely buckets by the stellar reserve, Erekson, things might have been different. The score, 38-31, indicates the difference of play. Captain Lund's play in the back court showed to advantage in the series. EREKSON LL of LL vs. 11 A. C At Salt Lake January 20-21 Page 257 |
