"I know it's not your day to come in, but I think you should?" The Professor said he would. When he hung up, he told his wife he could drive her as far as the university in the morning. She could take the car from there if she wished? but he knew she wouldn't? She had never got used to driving on the freeway, she would take the bus, and if everything was all right with her sister, he could drive down and pick her up after the meeting?
