Show 6141 The Special Master. Three pages, 33 to 35, inclusive. Mr. Farnsworth. Under the subject of meandering, sec-tion 1 to 7, both inclusive. The Special Master. It should be done in duplicate. Mr. Moyer. It can be photostated by the Department. By Mr. Farnsworth: Q There is one more question, Mr. Paine, that occurs to me, I call your attention to Complainant's Exhibit No. 4, and to the letters O. P. appearing at various points along the rivers shown on that exhibit. I also call your attention to the legend appearing on the map, which explains that the letters O. P. means oil and gas permits. Now, some oil and gas permit, I may inform you, have been produced here -- probably sufficient for the purposes and design in bringing them here; but permits for all of there areas designated O. P. on this map have not been produced. I assume that permits of similar character which have been produced and received in evidence here were issued on the lands bearing the initials O. P. on this map ( exhibiting document to witness)? A ( Examining document) I have no information on that subject. This is the first time I have seen this map. |
