Bill No. 10, Senate Bill No. 29, House Bills Nos. 170, 155 and 168 retain their places on the Calendar; that House Concurrent Resolution No. 1 be amended as follows: in line 26 of the printed copy after the word 'given' insert the words 'except as hereinafter provided'; insert after line 265 of the printed copy the following paragraphs: 'Provided always, and upon the conditions nevertheless, the consent of, approval and ratification by the State of Arizona, are given and granted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona to the said Colorado River Compact, upon and with the following express provises and conditions, and the consent, approval and ratification by the Legislature of the State of Arizona shall not be deemed effective and this resolution shall not be construed as a ratification and approval of said Colorado River Compact by the Legislature of Arizona until: 'First: The States of California and Nevada shall agree and consent, and the Congress of the United States of America shall approve, the same, that the State of Arizona shall forever exclusively own all the waters of the Gila River and its tributaries, and shall never be charged with such waters or any part thereof, and the same shall always be excluded from the apportionment, allotment or other definite settlement of the share, distributive interest or other right of the State of Arizona in and to the waters of said Colorado River system apportioned by the said Colorado River Compact to the said Lower Basin.
