Show -2- Whereas, under the authority of said Act of Congress the representative commissioners of the said States did on the 24th day of November, 1922, at the city of Santa Fe, New Mexico, sign a compact under the provisions of said Act of Congress, which compact was approved by the representative appointed by the President of the United States; Therefore Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives of the Seventh Legislature of Arizona in Regular Session assembled, the Senate concurring therein; That the Consent and approval of the Legislature of Arizona is hereby given to a compact signed at the city of Santa Fe, New Mexico, on the 24th day of November, 1922, under and in accordance with the authority of the Act of Congress approved August 19, 1921, entitled, "An Act to permit a compact or agreement between the States of Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming, respecting the disposition and apportionment of the waters of the Colorado River, and for other purposes," which compact was signed by the representative commissioners of the States of Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming, and the representative appointment by the President of the United States under said Act, which compact is as follows: [Text of Colorado River Compact omitted.] Resolved, further, that this Resolution be spread upon the Journals of the Senate and House of Representatives, and that copies hereof be duly engrossed and signed by the President of the Senate and Speaker of the House of Representatives in such number as |
