AN ACT RATIFYING AND APPROVING THE "COLORADO RIVER COMPACT," SIGNED NOVEMBER 24, 1922, AT THE CITY OP SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO, AS INTER-PRETED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ARIZONA. 1 Be it Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: f Section 1. That certain compact or agreement negoti-§ ated and entered into at the City of Santa Fe, State of H New Mexico, November 24, 1922, between the states of 0 Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah 6 and Wyoming, and between said states and the United 7 States, respecting the utilization and distribution of the g waters of the Colorado River and the streams tributary 9 thereto, interpreted as hereinafter in this Act set out, is, 10 as so interpreted, hereby, by the Legislature of the State 11 of Arizona, ratified and approved, in the words and fig- 12 ures, as follows, to-wit: 18 The States of Arizona, California, Colorado, Ne- 14 vada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming, having 15 resolved to enter into a compact under the Act of 15 the Congress of the United States of America ap- 17 proved August 19, 1921 (42 Statutes at Large, 18 Page 171) and the Acts of the Legislatures of 19 the said States, have through their Governors ap- 20 pointed as their Commissioners: 21 W, S.
