RC Yes alright. I think that since we are speaking today ~n 1972, almost 1973 I think it is pretty easy to talk about SER as a real national structure. We have a national board of directors which is at the present a total of twelve memb~rs. These-twelve people came from throughout the country, they are selected by the national officers of the American GI Forum and LULAC 30% each, we have former enrollees, two of them. In other words, people, two people who went through this training program of SER are sitting on the board and people from labor unions and business are being asked to join the board now, so that it's in the process. GC Is this board selective, or does itself select, or does ... ? RC No. No, they, the membership, is agai~ is selected b~ the national chairman of one organization selects representatives to the board for his organization. GC Now, how does the enrollee get picked? RC The enrollee, he is selected, he i~ nominated first of all by the local hoards and we can go into local boards a little later. But a local board will select somebody that went through their program, ·submit it to the national board for consideration, and the |
