Show I NT E RV I E\.J : Cue lla r Page 18 state, a leader of a nation, and on this way, so we do have a lot of leaders amongst the Spanish speaking. We have many, many potential leaders and I think we are going to see mo're and more as time goes on. The involvement and development of many, many of these leaders who will be coming up. Who will be showing their capacities, who·will be able, again, because of the times, to begin to articulate their own feelings and their own problems. But specifically, I think you have national leaders. I would sometimes question the quality of the leadership in certain areas but nevertheless they have shown leadership qualities and they have made them prominent to a given group. I think we mentioned Senato~ Montoya who is in the Senate from New Mexico. He has been there for quite some time. He is no doubt a leader in his own capacity. Many people would criticize him for his conservatism and yet that doesn't make him any less a leader. ~.;re have Congressman Lujon from New Mexico who has also embraced the movement quite aggressively and sympathizes wholely with what is being done by local community agencies, by local organizations, and by national organizations. He's definitely a leader with known capacity. We have several people like that in the Congress. Then we have what you might say, the natural self-made leader that has come up through the development of the community, community support and we have Dr. Garcia who founded the American GI Forum in 1948.
