Show Record It is stipulated between counsel that Kelly W. Trimble will testify with reference to the operation of the boats substantially as Mr. Blake and Mr. Loper testified in regard thereto. I also made a trip on the Green River from Green River, 3873 Wyoming, to Greenriver, Utah. Sheet 46 of Exhibit No. 10 was prepared by me from surveys and other maps by the Reclamation Dervice. I checked it on elevations only and found it correct. The same is true as to Sheet No. 45. Sheet No. 44 is may own surveys and my own inking preparation, and was prepared in the same manner as the maps on the San Juan were prepared, and the matters shown on the map were ob-served by me at the time it was made. Sheet No. 43 was the same as No. 46, by the Reclamation Service. Sheet 42 was my surveys and inking and compilation. Sheet 41 was partly prepared by me and partly by Mr. Schnurr of the Geological Survey in 1914. Sheet No. 40 is by Cornelius Schnurr. I checked the elevation. Sheet 39 was prepared partly by me and a portion by the Reclamation Service. Sheet 38 was prepared by me. Sheet 37 was prepared partly by the Reclamation Service and partly by me. That brings us down to Greenriver, Utah. The maps to which I have just referred are maps which are on file in the Department 3875 of the Interior. After I reached the mouth of the San Juan River in 1921 I did some work on the Colorado River, between the mouth of the San Juan and a distance of 25 or 26 miles down the river. I prepared some maps on that work also. That work is indicated on Sheets 4, 5 and 6 of Exhibit 10. The Profile Sheets in the back of Exhibit No. 10 were 3876 also prepared by me from data which I obtained while in the field. In making the survey of a rapid I took the elevation at the head of the rapid and also at the foot. That would give me the fall. Kelly W. Trimble testified on cross examination as follows: 558 |
